OCF Convention Ball 2007

Here are some of the pictures of the OCF Ball. Everyone looked terrific without the usual uni-wear (although some also look good with uni-wear). I feel like a commentator after a fashion gala. Haha...

*drumroll*

And here are the awards:

1. Sheik Yan deserves an honourable mention for doing Dot's, Rachelle's, Wanling's and her own hair. Wanling's hair was especially intricate.
2. Ming was unexpectedly beautiful. That, or she suddenly became photogenic.
3. I thought Ping Han's shirt and tie went superbly well. Not bad considering he didn't put in much thought.
4. Lydia's pendant/necklace was a sweet touch with complimented her skin tone most beautifully. Erm.. she claims she doesn't know what it is.
5. Wai May was oozing class all over the place. Dazzling and stunning as always.

Okay.. you get the drift. Everyone looked good. Myself included (how could I leave ME out?)

And here's my BS group's reaction upon realising I had taken over..

Finally, a group shot, which is probably useless, since you can't see very much.

Wahh i should get Sheik to do my hair someday :) hahaha.. The wonders of makeup.. its very interesting to study the look transition of girls- from the just wake up, to go to school look, to the dressup look- because each step has drastic changes! As for guys, they look more or less the same at any of these stages... :P

The next time they should try for a fancy-dress party - then it should be drastically different. Unless every guy decides to be a victorian gentleman, or a boring man.

I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve, but knowing they'd probably contract me as photographer, my ideas might have to take a hike. The sacrifices I make =P

ken: "the wonders of make up" I wouldn't dare say that, esp in the light of shake.. I'm of the belief that some girls are inherently beautiful, with or without make up, with or without nicely done up hair. In fact, I dare say I prefer some of the girls WITHOUT make up. :)

wandering: define dress up more. I wanted to come as shrek. good enough?!! ha ha...

lyd: thanks lyd! can't wait to see yours. don't like it that it makes my blog to navigate though.. meh! :(

khai: agreed.. we need to have a fancy dress party.. maybe for another fund raising stint. it would be interesting to see what pple come in. Bet some fools will come in PJs and that kinda lame shit. Can you dress up as a camera? LOL..
