Since on the subject of dress sense. I decided to ask people what they thought of MY dress sense.
Okay, wait, don't take the opportunity to crucify me here. I know I dress weirdly to some. I mean multi-coloured hair and bright yellow shirts and bright yellow beach shorts don't appeal to 99% of the population.
So, be merciful in your comments, pretty-pleaseeeeeee :p
Shout it out pple!!!!!!

hei JON!!!
hehe, yup regarding dee's daughter, maybe you can try being her fren n thus, changed her perceptions of stereotyped bad asses. hehe...just kidding
anyway, i truly love fashion to bits. even if it means its so not mi to dress like that blah, i still love fashion...or should i say, i appreciate fashion. Be it Boho, classic chic, casual chic, cool casual, frilly girlie, gothic, vintage etc...loves looking at magz n spot the latest wear as well as endorsing those which suits mi. Well, i cant say im a blind fashion leech, but, i just loves to admire the creations of designers, n also to improve my dress sense. However, im not one to blindly follow fashion, if one dresses like grasshopper n still expect mi to raise my thumb..hmmm....
Anyway your dress sense sounds very hawaiian...aint it?
i think you're in the wrong country jon. haha. get rid of the uniform. found the stuff u need to run away from NS
JON!!!!! Here is ma 2 cents worth. well very honestly ive neber thought you had good dress sense at all. i mean lime green shirts are sick really, especially with the indian pattern hahaa. but i always believe that you have the personality to carry it off. and thats what matters. why not you dress like how you go clubbin? than you'll be HOT HOT HOT all the time. hahaaa remember SHE is still at zouk waiting for you. wahahahahaaa
Oh carol… I am but a fool…
Okay, forgive me. Carol just reminds me of that song, or Christmas carols. Right, that’s lame lame LAME I understand :)
firstly, I've not idea who DEE is, she's in US.. haha
Anyway, I used to tell people that if I didn’t become an architect I’d become a fashion designer. I think I’m like you in that way. As in I really, really love fashion. I love looking at clothes, girls and guys. Haha… just like you, I probably wouldn’t wear a lot of this stuff. But still its always nice to get ideas for new clothes. Heck.. I’m daydreaming about my personal line of clothes.
I’m actually quite into retro clothes right now, hence Wednesday nights at zouk is a good place to go. For girlie clothes, I used to like the frilly sort, but no longer. Actually I find them a tad repulsive, which is why I’m glad its phasing out. Goth vintage is so DAMN cool can? But to get the really beautiful ones it costs a few hundreds. I bought a couple of belts off ebay yesterday for $120. The Punk Rock type. That’s quite a chunk of my monthly allowance. Haha… who cares anyway? Too bad I spent nearly 24-7 in uniform so well. But uniforms too have their sex appeal I guess. It makes you stand out from the crowd. Good or bad I don’t know.
I don’t think I’m Hawaiian. I mean it used to be in vogue when I (meaning same as you since we’re both 1983) was in sec 4. Since than, I’ve moved around a lot. At times, I don’t even care what I’m wearing. Its different, when you’re attached and not, you even dress differently for some reason. Also, because I had seriously multi-coloured hair, I used to think that ANY colour would match my hair anyway. haha but people are opinionated. Mum hated my hair and dress sense. I had to dye my hair black for graduation btw. Haha. Still, as a designer and architect (sort of), people are generally more liberal with the way you dress. I get away with a lot of quirks. Tee hee… thanks for sharing though. I’ve not met a fashion crazy GUY yet though, strangely. I’m weird.
